
Jonathan Wilson is a writer and broadcaster. He has published a novel and thirteen non-fiction books about football including a history of the World Cup, The Power and the Glory; a history of tactics, Inverting the Pyramid; a history of the Argentinian game, Angels With Dirty Faces; and a history of Hungarian football between 1916 and 56, The Names Heard Long Ago.
βHe is a columnist for the Guardian and has been named FSA Football Writer of the Year a record four times.
Wilson is one of the seven journalists who founded Libero podcast and is co-host of It Was What It Was: the Football History Podcast. He is also regular on the Guardian Football Weekly podcast.
He is a regular speaker at conferences and dinners across multiple industries, including financial services, the charity sector and universities.
